Furthermore, WE MOVE is not required to pre-screen the comments and postings in the WE MOVE chat rooms, although WE MOVE reserves the right to do so in its sole discretion, and WE MOVE is in no way responsible for such comments and postings. All opinions, questions, comments, and information within these areas belong solely to the senders or users and are not endorsed by, nor do they in any way reflect the policies or opinions of WE MOVE. The purpose of the WE MOVE chat rooms is to allow for the free exchange of information and ideas among various movement disorder communities, including patients, families, and caregivers. It is WE MOVE's intention to provide a tool that might assist individuals in finding peer support and/or access to resources related to their specific needs.

WARNING: The information obtained from the WE MOVE chat rooms does not replace consultation with a physician. All medical information, procedures, drug doses, indications, and contraindications should be discussed with your personal physician.

Limitation of Liability

WE MOVE shall not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, consequential or exemplary damage, including but not limited to personal injury, or wrongful death, whether in any action in warranty, contract, tort or otherwise arising out of or in any way connected with your participation in any of the WE MOVE chat rooms, even if an authorized representative of WE MOVE is advised of the likelihood or possibility of same.

WE MOVE Chat Room Conduct Policy

WE MOVE is a small not-for-profit whose mission is to improve the lives of people living with a movement disorder. Funding limitations do not permit WE MOVE to enforce 24/7 oversight of these rooms. Therefore, we ask that you use these rooms for mutual support and information exchange. If self-governance of the room becomes challenging, you are encouraged to submit a report of the offence(s).

ENTERING A WE MOVE CHAT ROOM INDICATES ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE RULES BELOW. USERS WHO VIOLATE THE TERMS OF THE RULES WILL BE SUBJECT TO DISCIPLINARY ACTION AND POSSIBLY BANNED FROM USING ALL WE MOVE CHAT ROOMS.

1. No Unlawful Purpose: Do not enter a WE MOVE chat room to use it in an unlawful way or for any unlawful purpose.
2. No Abusive Language: Do not engage or participate in any activities directly or indirectly that harass, threaten, abuse or intimidate other users. This includes continuing to "chat" or send "private messages" to someone when they specifically ask you to stop. Users come to WE MOVE Chat Rooms for support and guidance, not harassment or ridicule.
3. No Offensive Language: Do not post, or attempt to post, any obscene words or phrases. This includes curse words, or any typed/spelling variation of them. Additionally, explicitly violent, racist, or other abusive language is not allowed. The judgment of language deemed to be obscene, or inappropriate for viewing, is at the sole discretion of the WE MOVE staff.
4. No Usurping of Usernames: Do not attempt to assume a previously posted username. Furthermore, do not post messages under the name, "WE MOVE Staff." WE MOVE employees monitor the chat rooms for conformity to this rule.

There are specific procedures that WE MOVE employs when disciplinary action is required. When a WE MOVE Chat Room rule is broken:

1. Warning Issued or Ejection from Room: You will not receive a warning or "first strike." If any of the above rules are broken, you may be immediately ejected from all WE MOVE Chat Rooms.
2. Banned: The user will be permanently banned from entering any WE MOVE Chat Room.
3. Reported: The user will be reported to their ISP, company, or institution. Transcripts representing offensive conduct will be supplied.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless WE MOVE, its affiliates and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from and against all losses, liability, expenses, damages and costs, including reasonable attorney's fees, arising out of or related to any breach by you of the WE MOVE Chat Room Conduct Policy.
